Have you ever received or written a love letter? A love letter is a message that expresses affection and care for another person. Love letters are often cherished by the recipient and personal way to express feelings.

We have all received the most awesome love letter written by God to us, His creation, expressed via the Bible. He expresses how long he has loved us, when he first loved us, how committed he is to us, the lengths he will go for us, tells us what we mean to Him and how his love will never go aways. It really doesn't get much better than that!

If you are ready to publicly proclaim your decision to follow Jesus through baptism, Sunday, Jan. 12 at 9:15am is your next chance! Simply complete this registration and we will follow up with you with more information. If you have questions about baptism, complete this registration and we can answer them when we follow up.

Celebrate the hope, peace, joy, and love we have in Jesus at our Christmas Eve services! We have three Christmas Eve Services this year on Tuesday, December 24th at 2:00pm, 3:30pm, and 5:00pm. The Christmas Eve experience will include worship, message, candlelight, and more. This is a family service which means kids join their families in the main Worship Center. Childcare for infant through 3 years old is available.

Child dedication is a celebration of the commitment & partnership between parents and their spiritual community to raise and disciple children to know and follow Jesus. Families are encouraged to invite individuals from their extended spiritual families & spheres of influence (friends, neighbors, co-workers, extended family) to join us as we celebrate the gift of children and make commitments to one another, to our children, and to God. The holidays are an exciting time of year filled with memory-making and tradition. It is also one of the busiest time of year for many of us with planning family gatherings, buying gifts, attending holiday related events, etc which can feel like so much to do in limited time. 

You are invited to gather with other women for a time to slow down and focus on how to keep the holidays meaningful and full of joy! We'll enjoy cozy hot tea and coffee, delicious baked goods, a sweet time of worship and helpful information and tips that will leave you feeling encouraged, joyous, and ready for the season ahead. 

LSCCer Lynne Borchers will share about her life experience maintaining joy and meaning in our hearts and minds throughout all seasons of life.

Mike and Becky Qualls, of Qualls Counseling, will kick off the evening with a short message and the rest of the evening will be spent playing games, eating snacks, and being in community with other couples! Families from Lee’s Summit and surrounding communities are invited to receive free school supplies, kids haircuts, and more at Back to School Bash on Friday, Aug. 16, 6:30-8:00pm, Bernard Campbell Middle School Gym.

Community Kids, ages infant through 5th grade, and their families are invited to a pool party hosted by Donald and Michelle Wray! We’ll swim, eat, and enjoy time in community. Hot dogs are provided but please bring a side or dessert to share.

REGISTRATION DEADLINE TUESDAY, AUG. 6 AT NOON

Community Students, grades 6-12, are invited to a night at the K as our Kansas City Royals take on cross-state rivals, the St. Louis Cardinals!

Just like honey bees work together for the survival of the hive, so does the body of Christ work together on mission to share the good news - or gospel - of Jesus!

Enjoy dessert and worship followed by Roger the beekeeper sharing some fascinating facts about honey bees and how they work together to keep the hive thriving. Our very own Aurora Rivera, LS Community Church Serve Pastor, will share about the importance of people of the church working together on a common mission to Saturate Lee's Summit With The Gospel. 

We'll close out the night by creating our very own fresh flower bouquets to take home. It will be a sweet time of community, worship, and mission!

BE A PART OF SENDING A STUDENT TO CAMP! 

Many students experience lasting life change at student camp as they grow in their faith and become “all in” for Jesus. However, the cost of going to camp is a barrier for some students to go. Two ways you can help offset costs for some campers: 

• Give to the Camp Scholarship Fund. Choose “Camp Scholarship Fund” when you give HERE  

• Eat breakfast in the cafe on Sunday, June 30. For just $6 you’ll enjoy hot pancakes, yummy eggs, and savory sausage. All proceeds from the purchase of breakfast and any donations will go to the Camp Scholarship Fund.
